BUYKARLO PROHIBITED PRODUCTS POLICY

Effective Date: 1 June 2026

1. PURPOSE

The purpose of this Prohibited Products Policy (“Policy”) is to protect users, maintain platform integrity, reduce fraud, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Users may not list, advertise, promote, solicit, offer, exchange, distribute, or facilitate transactions involving products prohibited under this Policy.

BuyKarlo reserves the right to remove listings, restrict visibility, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or take any other action deemed appropriate where a violation of this Policy is identified.

This Policy should be read together with the Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, and other Platform policies.

2. GENERAL RULE

Any product that is unlawful, unsafe, deceptive, counterfeit, stolen, restricted by law, or otherwise inconsistent with the objectives of the Platform may be prohibited at BuyKarlo’s sole discretion.

The categories below are illustrative and not exhaustive.

3. ILLEGAL DRUGS AND CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Narcotics;
• Illegal drugs;
• Controlled substances;
• Recreational drugs;
• Drug paraphernalia;
• Substances intended to mimic illegal drugs;
• Materials promoting illegal drug use.

Any listing involving such products may result in immediate account suspension.

4. MEDICINES AND PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCTS

Users may not list:

• Prescription medicines;
• Over-the-counter medicines;
• Medical drugs;
• Pharmaceutical samples;
• Expired medicines;
• Unlicensed medical products.

This prohibition applies regardless of whether the product is sealed, unused, or lawfully obtained.

5. TOBACCO, NICOTINE, AND VAPING PRODUCTS

The following are prohibited:

• Cigarettes;
• Cigars;
• Tobacco products;
• E-cigarettes;
• Vape devices;
• Vape liquids;
• Nicotine pouches;
• Smoking accessories primarily intended for tobacco consumption.

6. ALCOHOLIC PRODUCTS

Users may not list:

• Beer;
• Wine;
• Spirits;
• Liquor;
• Home-brewed alcohol;
• Alcohol distribution vouchers or coupons.

7. WEAPONS AND DANGEROUS ITEMS

The following are prohibited:

• Firearms;
• Ammunition;
• Explosives;
• Fireworks;
• Grenades;
• Weapon components;
• Military-grade equipment;
• Restricted knives;
• Any item intended primarily to cause bodily harm.

BuyKarlo may remove any item that presents a safety risk.

8. ADULT AND SEXUALLY EXPLICIT PRODUCTS

The following are prohibited:

• Sexually explicit products;
• Adult entertainment products;
• Pornographic materials;
• Sex toys;
• Adult services;
• Any content or product intended primarily for sexual gratification.

9. STOLEN PROPERTY

Users may not list products that:

• Have been stolen;
• Have been unlawfully obtained;
• Are subject to ownership disputes;
• Have altered or removed serial numbers;
• Are suspected to originate from criminal activity.

BuyKarlo may temporarily restrict or permanently remove listings reported as potentially stolen pending review.

BuyKarlo may request proof of ownership where appropriate.

10. COUNTERFEIT AND INFRINGING PRODUCTS

The following are prohibited:

• Counterfeit goods;
• Replica products represented as genuine;
• Unauthorized copies;
• Products infringing trademarks;
• Products infringing copyrights;
• Products infringing patents or other intellectual property rights.

Users are solely responsible for ensuring their listings comply with applicable intellectual property laws.

11. FRAUDULENT OR MISLEADING PRODUCTS

Users may not:

• Misrepresent product condition;
• Falsify specifications;
• Conceal material defects;
• Use misleading photographs;
• Advertise products that do not exist;
• Create listings intended solely to collect user information.

12. DIGITAL GOODS AND UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS

The following are prohibited:

• Hacked accounts;
• Unauthorized software licenses;
• Pirated software;
• Pirated media;
• Stolen digital credentials;
• Access to online accounts belonging to others;
• Illegal digital services.

13. GAMBLING AND BETTING RELATED PRODUCTS

Users may not offer:

• Gambling services;
• Betting opportunities;
• Lottery participation rights;
• Gambling devices where prohibited by law.

14. FINANCIAL AND IDENTITY DOCUMENTS

Users may not list:

• Government-issued identification documents;
• Passports;
• Driving licenses;
• Aadhaar cards;
• PAN cards;
• Bank accounts;
• Credit cards;
• Financial instruments;
• Academic certificates belonging to others.

15. HAZARDOUS MATERIALS

The following may not be listed:

• Toxic chemicals;
• Hazardous waste;
• Radioactive materials;
• Corrosive substances;
• Biohazardous materials;
• Dangerous industrial chemicals.

16. ANIMALS AND WILDLIFE

Users may not list:

• Protected wildlife;
• Wildlife products prohibited by law;
• Endangered species;
• Animal parts restricted by law.

BuyKarlo reserves the right to prohibit the sale of any animal-related product.

17. PRODUCTS REQUIRING SPECIAL LICENSING

BuyKarlo may prohibit products requiring government permits, licenses, registrations, or regulatory approvals where compliance cannot reasonably be verified.

18. PLATFORM DISCRETION

BuyKarlo reserves the unrestricted right to remove, restrict, refuse, suspend, or prohibit any listing that:

• Creates legal risk;
• Creates safety concerns;
• Generates significant user complaints;
• Appears deceptive;
• May harm users;
• May damage platform trust or reputation.

The absence of a product category from this Policy shall not be interpreted as permission to list that product.

19. REPORTING PROHIBITED PRODUCTS

Users are encouraged to report listings believed to violate this Policy.

BuyKarlo may review reports, request supporting information, seek clarification from the seller, or remove content where appropriate.

Repeated violations may result in account suspension or permanent removal from the Platform.

20. POLICY UPDATES

BuyKarlo reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time to address emerging risks, legal requirements, platform developments, or safety concerns.

Updated versions shall become effective upon publication on the Platform.
